Shell pottery

We found items form Katmandu and pottery made from Laguna Clay companies clay , molded, and shaped like mussell shells and many other shapes of shells. We learned we could microwave or cook in these shells... and then placed on the table to eat out of. I loved them. I like the bluish colored mussell shell plater... looked like it was found at low tide and cooked in.

New Arrivals

Well, Aviella and JoAnn & I have just returned from the huge Americasmart show in Atlanta, Georgia. Wow!! Our local South Coast Plaza would get lost in this place. We found great things for the Coastal beach room of our store and linens, wall art, lamps from around the world, even wonderful small cabinets from Katmandu. Yes, Katmandu. There are old doors that have been painted over for decades except we have the thresholds with the door...now with a mirror inside.
Anyway, we had a wonderful time. We met with the owners of most of these accessories and most are family owned. These treasures will be trickling in through spring '09.
